EUR 890 million trade deficit in June 2010 Estimated data published by the National Statistics Institute shows that FOB exports in June 2010 were in value of EUR 3.315 billion, up 29.1% as against June 2009, while the CIF imports were of EUR 4.204 billion, up 26.5% as compared to the same period of last year. As a result, trade deficit for June 2010 was in value of EUR 890 million, with EUR 133 million higher than the trade deficit registered in June 2009. EUR 4.7 billion trade deficit in the first semester of 2010 Estimated data published by the National Statistics Institute shows that FOB exports in the first half of 2010 were in value of EUR 17.16 billion, up 25.8% as against first half of 2009, while the CIF imports were of EUR 21.87 billion, up 19.3% as compared to the same period of last year. As a result, trade deficit for the first semester of 2010 was in value of EUR 4.7 billion, with EUR 25.4 million higher than the trade deficit registered in the first semester of 2009.
EUR 957 million trade deficit in May 2010
Estimated data published by the National Statistics Institute shows that FOB exports in May 2010 were in value of EUR 2.993 billion, up 29.5% as against May 2009, while the CIF imports were of EUR 3.950 billion, up 27.7% as compared to the same period of last year. As a result, trade deficit for may 2010 was in value of EUR 957 million, with EUR 702.3 million higher than the trade deficit registered in May 2009.
EUR 856.6 million trade deficit in March 2010
Estimated data published by the National Statistics Institute shows that FOB exports in March 2010 were in value of EUR 2.98 billion, up 15.1% as against March 2009, while the CIF imports were of EUR 3.84 billion, up 17.8% as compared to the same period of last year. As a result, trade deficit for March 2010 was in value of EUR 856.6 million, with EUR 187.4 million higher than the trade deficit registered in March 2009. See tables and graphs below.

Estimated data published by the National Statistics Institute shows that FOB exports in February 2010 were in value of EUR 2.56 billion, up 23% as against February 2009, while the CIF imports were of EUR 3.16 billion, up 7.1% as compared to the same period of last year. As a result, trade deficit for February 2010 was in value of EUR 593.4 million, with EUR 270.6 million lower than the trade deficit registered in February 2009. See table and graphs below.

Estimated data published by the National Statistics Institute shows that FOB exports in January 2010 were in value of EUR 2.31 billion, up 19.8% as against January 2009, while the CIF imports were of EUR 2.73 billion, up 4.4% as compared to the same period of last year. As a result, trade deficit for January 2010 was in value of EUR 426.8 million, with EUR 265.8 million lower than the trade deficit registered in January 2009. See table and graphs below.

Estimated data published by the National Statistics Institute shows that FOB exports in December 2009 were in value of EUR 2.326 billion, up 18.9% as against December 2008, while the CIF imports were of EUR 3.176 billion, down 9.9% as compared to the same period of last year. As a result, trade deficit for December 2009 was in value of EUR 850.6 million, with EUR 719 million lower than the trade deficit registered in December 2008. International trade in 2009 According to the data published by the National Statistics Institute, in 2009, FOB exports reached EUR 29 billion – 13.9% lower as against 2008, while the CIF imports were in value of EUR 38.77 billion – 32.3% as against 2008. As a result, the trade deficit for 2009 was of EUR 9.738 billion, with EUR 13.78 billion lower than in 2008. See table and graphs below.
